This year Asprey dressed the recipient of the prestigious fellowship award, Dame Helen Mirren in Asprey jewels. HRH duke of Cambridge, the president Of BAFTA, presented the EE BAFTA award for this incredible achievement to Dame Helen Mirren who wore Asprey's new diamond collection, ‘Storm’. The storm suite is a couture diamond suite and includes; large diamond earrings in white gold; the Storm ring ; the Storm cuff bracelet and a beautiful statement necklace. At the ceremony Asprey also dressed presenters; Helen McCrory (Oak Leaf peridot earrings) and Juliet Stevenson (yellow diamond earrings and diamond line bracelet). Nominated for supporting actress, Sally Hawkins wore pieces from Asprey’s Daisy Heritage collection; Daisy diamond earrings, Daisy aquamarine bracelet and ring.
Asprey Hosts The BAFTA Nominees' Party 2014
Asprey hosted the official EE BAFTA, Nominees’ Party for the sixth consecutive year. The prestigious cocktail party, held in Asprey’s new bond street flagship Store, celebrated the film nominations and Asprey’s continued partnership with BAFTA.
The store was transformed to welcome actors, special guests and film Industry professionals. Numerous bars were set up around the store Including a Taittinger bar, Villa Maria Wine Tasting Room, the Savoy American Bar; Hotel Chocolat 'Tasting Room' and a Stoli Vodka Bar. Whilst guests explored each themed room, a special performance from Lianne La Havas took place in the Atrium.View Event Photos >
Guests included directors; David Russell (American Hustle); Paul Greengrass (Captain Philips); David Oyelowo (The Butler); Ron Howard (Rush); and David Heyman (Jack Ryan). Also in attendance were Matthew Modine, Will Poulter (EE rising talent); Lupita Nyong’O; Bruce Dern; Amy Adams; Steve Coogan; Barkhad Abdi; Mahat M. Ali; Daniel Bruhl. Dame Helen Mirren who wore Asprey’s Daisy Heritage yellow diamond Earrings and yellow sapphire and diamond ring; Olivia Colman who wore Pave diamond bangle and matching ring. Samantha barks who wore Protector citrine earrings and matching ring. Other guests included; Zoe Ball, Edith Bowman and Laura Mvula who performed at the opening of the BAFTA awards ceremony on the 16th February.
