Margaret Thatcher's Handbags
Margaret Thatcher was famous for her beautiful handbags. Her black Asprey bag was at her side during some of the most important summits with President Ronald Reagan during the 1980s.
The reinterpreted 167 Swirl motif takes inspiration from the decorative ironwork surrounding Asprey's flagship store on New Bond Street, London.
The collection is exclusive to Asprey and was designed in house and produced by one of the few remaining high quality producers in Stoke on Trent, England, an area historically famed for its ceramics industry. It is designed either to be used on its own as a dinnerware set in classic style, or else to be mixed with our other collections.
