Named after Greenwich Mean Time, the GMT Collection embodies the spirit of British explorers and adventurers. As Great Britain developed into an advanced maritime nation, British seafarers kept at least one chronometer set to GMT in order to calculate their longitude relative to the Greenwich Meridian of zero degrees.
