Product Description
Whether you’re mixing cocktails or enjoying a cigar and snifter of brandy, the Master & Serpent Bar Cart is a practical, elegant statement piece for the barware collector. Issued in a limited edition of just six, this offering from Zelouf & Bell’s workshop in rural Ireland is the embodiment of master craftsmanship, merging artistry with innovative design.
Crafted exclusively for Asprey London, Zelouf & Bell’s Master & Serpent Bar Cart features a tangle of warring King Cobras against a backdrop of highly figured hedge green bird’s eye maple. Etched and engraved ripple sycamore serpents with mother-of-pearl and vivid green shell hoods posture and hiss within the confines of polished bronze custom hardware. The bar cart’s footprint is inspired by the ‘Streamline Moderne’ luxury ocean liner SS Normandie, launched in 1932 and the famed Normandie Hotel in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Burnished bronze curved handles allow easy navigation, the cart gliding on concealed wheels. Pull-out shelves present a pop of colour, featuring a magnified snakeskin graphic in brilliant green shell marquetry, serving as bar tops, almost doubling the bar cart’s length; hang champagne flutes from the discreet glass rack slung below.
