Product Care
The duck head has been coated with a clear lacquer to stabilise the oxidised and gilt detailing and must not be cleaned with silver cleaner. The smooth silver collar may be cleaned with an impregnated silver cloth. For items used for food or drink please clean inside before use. Handmade crystal, please handle with care. To clean silver parts, gently wipe away surface marks with a silver cleaning cloth. For more stubborn marks and tarnishing use a good quality silver polish; avoiding any contact with crystal parts. Apply to the area with cotton wool working in a circular motion until the tarnish has lifted from the surface. Wash off all traces of the cleaner with warm soapy water, then rinse with clean water and dry with a soft lint-free cloth. The crystal decanter may be washed by hand with mild detergent and warm, not hot, water and immediately dried with a soft cloth to avoid spots. Do not use abrasives or acidic agents. Not dishwasher safe. Cleaning in a dishwasher may result in the silver part detaching from the decanter.
