Product Description
The Year of the Dragon timepiece is a superb example of an early Georgian table clock featuring unique Chinoiserie artwork. Made from solid cherry wood, the lacquered case is burnished and individually hand painted to feature Dragons in dramatic poses. The fine decorative detail is achieved by applying layers of gesso, gold leaf and then the final artwork. The clock is exclusively crafted in England by one of the UK's oldest clockmakers, who maintain a tradition of clock-making that spans five generations. Each clock takes approximately 6 months to be completed, as every component is custom-made.
This collector's clock of exceptional quality is available in 3 colours - Red, Green & Purple, with each version limited to 8 pieces. Each piece is packed in a mahogany finish presentation box and has an engraved plate with an individual number and certificate of authenticity.
The Year of the Dragon clock is available exclusively at Asprey's store in the Peninsula Hotel, London. Please click the "Contact Us to Buy" button above for additional details and to reach our customer service team.
