The Dancing Cranes Tray is conceived as a limited edition tray that balances ornamental detail with everyday function. Crafted from pressure-dyed timbers including black and red bolivar, grey ripple sycamore and yellow tay, and elevated with white mother-of-pearl and nickel accents.
The composition features intricate marquetry of cranes in motion, inspired by archival kimono patterns, with finely cut elements creating a sense of rhythm and lift across the surface. Subtle tonal contrasts highlight the craftsmanship and depth of the inlay.
A hand-rubbed matte lacquer finish enhances the natural materials, while leather-padded feet provide surface protection. Each tray is presented in an individual fabric sleeve, referencing the Japanese tradition of furoshiki.
Enjoy complimentary secured shipping and signature gift packaging on all Asprey orders over £250. A £5 delivery charge applies to orders under £250. UK orders placed before 2 PM (UK time) qualify for next business day delivery. While we aim to deliver on time, occasional delays may occur.
