The Leigh Jewel Case draws on many years of skilled expertise to create the cantilevered trays elegantly presenting your jewellery and valuables to you. The top two trays are fitted with ring channels and as well as cushioned compartments, and underneath the trays are a variety of spaces for other jewellery. The goatskin is gently padded, the interior compartments are completely fitted out with goatskin and finished with velvet cushion bases. The lock and other metal accessories, all exclusive Asprey designs, are crafted from solid brass, and finished with palladium. The Asprey logo is spelled out in letters on the inside of the lid, the lock has a hinged keyhole cover and the box is complete with a tasselled key. The final touch is a carry handle on the top of the box.
About the Material
Goatskin, originating in Madras and produced by a specialist tannery in France, is recognisable by its unique grain, which is created by boarding the leather. This consists of rolling the leather against itself, grain against grain, to define the grain. This is done in several different directions to create an irregular but harmonious grain with a slight shine. Goatskin leather is soft, supple and very durable because of the natuarally high presence of lanolin in the leather. It will soften over time, becoming more supply and silky.
Product Care
Maintain the beauty of your Asprey goatskin product to ensure it endures though time. Avoid direct contact with heat, water, light & oil, as well as any situation that is either too humid or dry. Wipe away any moisture as soon as possible. When not in use, store your goatskin product in the dust bag provided and in a clean, dry, temperate atmosphere.
Commercial care products are not kind to Asprey goatskin products. A soft dry cloth is sufficient to maintain the beauty of the leather. Should there be a problem, we recommend you contact us for some expert TLC, using the Asprey after-sales service
