The Poppy Tea & Coffee Set is designed by Asprey and hand‑painted by master artisans at Herend, one of the world’s last workshops dedicated solely to fully hand‑painted porcelain.
Created on classic Herend forms, the design features a soft pink palette inspired by a poppy flower, with colour that gently graduates from deep to light across each piece. Inside every cup, a delicate illustration of stamen and pistil detail surrounded by white colour that blend seamlessly into the soft pink porcelain. The milk jug and tea/coffee pot features a subtly whimsical spout, further enhancing the sense of fantasy in the design. Curved edges trace the shape of delicate petals, while waved green handles evoke the plant’s green stems. Each piece is finished with gold detailing along the edges, as well as on the finials and handle accents.
The full service includes a tea/coffee pot, cream jug, sugar bowl, six coffee cups with matching saucers, and six side plates- each one showcasing exceptional craftsmanship and elevating the ritual of drinking tea or coffee.
