A contemporary tribute to one of England’s most enduring domestic forms, the Asprey Alms Dish is crafted in the United Kingdom from hallmarked sterling silver. Also known as an Armada or Elizabethan dish, this elegant piece takes its heritage from vessels once used both for serving and for receiving monetary offerings in church, long regarded as symbols of quiet ceremony and understated grandeur.
Hand-finished to Asprey’s exacting standards, each dish possesses the gentle concavity and refined rim profile that have defined the form for centuries, further enhanced by scattered hallmarks around the rim. Offered in a range of sizes, it may also be commissioned in bespoke dimensions by special order, and can be engraved if desired. Hallmarks may also be positioned centrally at the back of the dish, to allow all the front of the dish to be engraved; please contact us before or after purchase to arrange this.
Enjoy complimentary secured shipping and signature gift packaging on all Asprey orders over $250. A $10 delivery charge applies to orders under $250. All items are shipped Delivery Duties Paid (DDP). US delivery typically takes 2 to 3 business days. While we aim to deliver on time, occasional delays may occur.

The product you have selected contains materials covered by CITES, and if you wish to take delivery outside the UK, the above extended delivery time will apply. Please note that we are unable to accept returns of merchandise made from CITES listed animals from outside the United Kingdom.
The ‘Washington’ Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora, more commonly known as CITES, aims to protect certain plants and animals by regulating and monitoring their international trade to prevent it reaching unsustainable levels.
